the new and improved GMRS X1 Bluetooth® in June 2007. ChatterBox
took the most powerful GMRS X1 unit on the market (up to 5 mile
range) and gave it the Bluetooth® technology that everyone has been
asking for.
Now you can pair your Bluetooth® cell phone and an auxiliary audio
source simultaneously without the use of wires. This communicator
allows users pair up to 2 Bluetooth® wireless devices.
Answer your Bluetooth® cell phone and listen to a music source (iPod®/Mp3
player with Bluetooth® wireless adapter) or get voice prompted directions
from your Bluetooth® GPS system.
Other new features include improved Hi-Fi stereo speakers with noise
reducing microphone and 22 channels with 38 talk groups to choose
from when communicating. The GMRS X1 Bluetooth® also features an
illuminated LCD display, voice activation, and a built in intercom
for communicating with a passenger. All of these features are packed
into a tough water resistant casing. The new X1 Bluetooth® unit
will arrive June 2007.
*For
intercoms function, the passenger needs to have his/her own noise
reducing headset and a noise reducing headset extension cord, which
can be ordered from this website.
** Other accessories (which are not included in the kit) must be
purchased additionally.
