Enter keyword, product name: This two image illustrated the ChatterBox headsets' proper wiring layout after the installation. The ChatterBox headset's left or right ear speaker dimension is: Thickness = 2/8 " inch (or 6.3 millimeters), Diameter = 1 1/2 " inch round (or 38 millimeters).
Most helmets have cut-outs on left and right side for ear speakers, the speakers will fit in there perfectly. However, if your helmet has a lining and no cut-outs in the lining, you will probably want to carefully cut the lining and glue/ Velcro it to the inside shell of the helmet. Most helmets have cut-outs inside but may be covered up by the lining. Carefully run the headset wires inside your helmet, pushing them between the liner and the helmet with the wood stick that is provided with the headset. This will take a moment to do a neat job. It is your decision to cut or modify the helmet or its lining to have the ear speaker fit nicely. Notes: If you have a very tight fitted helmet, you will probably feel the pressure from the ear speakers. There are two plastic foam cover for both sides ear speakers, and the foam cover will be used to wrap the speakers. So riders will have more comfort when riding for longer period of time.
Also, some people have very sensitive ear bones and with a tight fitted helmet, in this case, he or she has to make some adjustment and/ or cut-outs on the lining, in order to have comfortable fitting when headset is being used. Again, It is your decision to cut or modify the helmet or its lining to have the ear speaker fit nicely. CLICK Here to go read the Frequent Ask Question section for more product information.
